Period Pieces Notes

Period Pieces - (Tradition TCD 1078)

An album of women's songs, written by Peggy Seeger between 1963 and 1994. All of them except one have been previously recorded. Half of the 18 items are fresh recordings. The other half are being remixed from Familiar Faces, or taken from live recordings. They give an extraordinary overview of feminist issues over the past thirty years.
