Darling Annie

from Three Score and Ten by Peggy Seeger

/

about

Written on a Scots mountainside while cooking haggis in the back foot-room of a burgundy Citroën Light 15. Add whiskey and butter when ready. Billy and I didn't rehearse this at all - it all just fell together on the night. But then most people don't rehearse for marriage either. Let's hope they have as much fun within matrimony as Mr P Seeger and Mrs B Bragg did that night.

Billy Bragg: vocal and guitar
Peggy Seeger: vocal and autoharp
